The South Island Mobilehome Extravaganza

A & P Showgrounds, Brucefield Rd, Ashburton 18th February

The South Island Motorhome Extravaganza has been successfully held for over 14 years and will be happening again for the 15th time in 2017 on the 18th and 19th of February. The show began with 46 vans in the first show, 102 in the second, and having over 200 vans in all the shows since.

The event is comparable to a ‘big rally’ with food stalls and all kinds of motorhome related items for sale, which make it a must-attend for motorhome owners! Kea, UCC, Deluxe, Freedom RV Traillite, Generator Place and RSE are just some of the big names that attend and showcase their exhibits. The local lions man the gates, and local charities are helped and contributed to.

  • EVENT: $5.00 per person admission will be charged to attend the event. Cash only on the day.

Campers are as always a big part of the weekend. Details below:

  • CSC PARKING: For $10.00 per van - grab a spot on the Friday and stay till the Monday – we expect over 150 vans will be in the camping area.

The Canterbury Area will be onsite to do self-containments and electrical warrants (one year 38 self-containments were completed).

Pets ok: Must be on a lead at all times and kept in camping area.
