We have great pleasure in welcoming you to the 14th Taranaki Fringe Garden Festival. This is one of New Zealand’s friendliest garden festivals and we pride ourselves on the variety of plants we can grow in Taranaki. The Taranaki Fringe Garden Festival is a ten day adventure into the homes of garden gurus throughout the Taranaki region.
We offer a unique and friendly experience that will inspire and motivate our visitors to take their gardening skills to a new level. All festival gardens have been assessed by an independent committee to ensure they meet our high standard. We hope you enjoy your time in this beautiful part of the country.
Open to the public, and $2.00 pp payable at each garden you visit, children under 12 are free.

Featuring more than 50 of Taranakis most beautiful gardens. A friendly welcome awaits you as you delight at the extraordinary splendour and variety in the beautiful gardens of Taranaki.
Taranaki is a great place to explore craft shops, galleries, nurseries, churches and many other places of interest along the Fringe Festival Garden Trail. Find a colourful culture expressed in different endeavours and interesting places to visit.
Surprises galore await visitors to the trail. Walk among fascinating devices and contraptions and experience a period when even simple tools were much larger. Collections, many in private hands, feature an extensive range of vintage machinery.

Overnight parking for Certified Self Contained Motorhomes and Caravans has been organised with the owners of the below gardens. Please contact and make arrangements with the owners of each garden you'd like to stay at in advance to reserve the limited spaces available for overnight parking. No dogs are to be brought through the gardens.
