"Sensational sounds, wine, food, and summer!"

This annual event is coordinated by Rotarian's from the Rotary Club of Richmond. We are a service group who like to have fun and support our local community. We help build the cycle-paths, BBQ shelters at Rabbit Island and organise the Wine and Food Festival as well as many other things in our community.

It's all about local. During the last 10 years we have raised over $360,000.00 from the Wine and Food Festival. Proceeds are then donated to community groups like the Rescue Helicopter, Hospice, Womens Refuge, Coastguard, local Fire brigades as well as local sporting groups and schools. In 2018 our main recipient was The Nelson Hospice,  so come along and join us in 2020 and raise more money for the local community.

Nelson Wine & Food Festival celebrates sensational sounds, wine, food, and summer. Hold onto your holiday groove, grab a friend and head to the Nelson  Wine & Food Festival, for all-day entertainment, fantastic food, and award-winning wine and beer. For those partial to a glass of something classy in the sun, explore the best Nelson has to offer with our leading wineries, or sample a beer or cider from our stellar craft breweries. This is a family event and NWFF cater for children with non alcoholic drinks, face painting, bouncy castle and much more.

For the foodies, there will be gourmet food stalls to explore and Local Entertainment to get you on your feet and dance under the summer sun or chill out and relax.

Ticketing

Adults: $20 for the day

Children 12 and under are FREE (no ticket required)

Certified Self Contained Motorhome and Caravan Parking

Motorhomes/caravans are permitted entry from Saturday 15th February in the afternoon and can stay 2 nights

  • Cost to stay is $15 pv/pn
  • Plenty of parking available on-site
  • No need to book
  • Pets must be kept on a lead and in the parking area ONLY
  • You must be certified self-contained
