Welcome to Mangawhai, a magical little town! The Mangawhai Walking Weekend is a festival of events, with guided walks over four days exploring our magical Mangawhai community. Select a walk from coastal, bush, rural, history and geology, eco tours by paddle boarding or kayak, to wine and beach trails and so much more. Even a special doggie walk!
Thursday’s Long tramp offers a more challenging day out exploring Mangawhai’s beautiful forest and coastline including the new Tanekaha Botanical Track. Experience the best of our bush, rural and beautiful coastline!
Friday discover music and magic on the Troubadour Trail a beautiful afternoon ramble around the picturesque Mangawhai estuary.
A weekend highlight is Saturday’s Mangawhai Food & Wine Festival, time to relax and unwind in a picturesque olive grove. Enjoy the late afternoon sun with some great music, dancing, delicious food and award winning wines and craft beers. The is an R18 event.

Ticket holders with Self Contained Vehicles are welcome to park in the designated area in the Mangawhai Domain - arrive anytime, expressions of interest to: email@example.com

The Food & Wine Festival is a 10 minute walk from the Domain. Please Note: Dogs must be kept on a lead in the motor home area. Dogs are permitted on the Doggie Walk only. No dogs permitted into the Food & Wine Festival.
