Be at the Kimbolton Domain to see what’s been created in sheds around New Zealand in the last year. The NZ Rural Sculpture Awards offer serious prize money to established sculptors and anyone who wants to try their hand at work that celebrates rural New Zealand.
It’s about rural people who may not consider themselves artists ‘having a go’ at creating something out of that junk at the back of the shed, and losing themselves in the act of creating art.
And it’s not just for locals, anyone in New Zealand can enter and with 10 categories and a top cash prize of $5000, it’s worth artists to get their thoughts nutted out and tools at the ready.
Entries accepted till March 20th, 2020 - enter at www.ruralart.nz
