Kaikoura Seafest 2017
Saturday the 7th of October 2017 at the Takahanga Domain in Kaikoura
Kaikoura Seafest is for those who enjoy good food, good company and a good time. Life by the sea is celebrated with festival stalls offering abundant seafood, land-food, craft beer and regional wine. A child friendly zone allows the festival clown, Adam Allsorts, to entertain the little Seafesters. The Cray Coast Cuisine demonstrations hosted by Jax Hamilton are sooo popular.
But best of all... there’s nothing like a good band for a great time! What makes Seafest a unique experience? The Big Top marquee is the centre of the festival action whilst providing shelter from the classic NZ ‘all weather in one day’. And yes we have had it all! That’s the challenge of being first off the rank on the NZ festival circuit.
Often called a classic kiwi experience, Seafest has a huge festival atmosphere with guaranteed good time party bands.
Kaikoura is all about crayfish, and fish. We are a fishing town after all. You will also find some of the most breath taking scenery in the country with a stunning coastline. Kaikoura is an unforgettable location for some of NZ’s best eco-tourism experiences, fascinating Maori & European histories along with relaxing and exhilarating land activities. Kaikoura is also full of new things, with magnificent new coastline to see, we could possibly claim it is the newest part of NZ to be found! As well as a new surf beach and it is right here in town! Take a little extra time to explore as we have it all!
