The Spring Fling is a series of standout events that capture the essence of springtime in Central Hawke’s Bay. Every weekend of September & October you’ll find a diverse range of events that showcase Central Hawke’s Bay, from homesteads and horse treks to daffodils, culture, cycling and so much more. Whether you are entertaining little ones, friends, visitors or family there’s an event to fit.

And here’s a great Spring Fling offer for fully self-contained Motor Homes – The Central Hawke’s Bay District Council will open Russell Park in Waipukurau and Coronation Park in Waipawa each weekend of the Spring Fling across September and October.
From Friday evening to Monday morning for fully self-contained campers can park at no cost to enjoy Spring Fling events. Campers with Spring Fling tickets will also be able to dump at the Waipukurau Camp Ground and refill their water at no cost at the Waipukurau Motor Camp. They will also be able to dispose of rubbish* at any of the four Central Hawke’s Bay District Council transfer stations.
*(up to a large plastic bag’s worth)
