Background on the Edendale Vintage Machinery Club
Edendale Vintage Machinery Club was formed by a group of like-minded enthusiasts in 1986 initially to run a get-together of old machinery. This was the forerunner of an organisation which has now grown to include a display shed containing the club’s and many member’s tractors and machinery on display for public viewing as well as a meeting room. The club has regular monthly meetings as well as outings involving club members.
Regular club activities involving vintage machinery include ploughing matches and oat binding / chaff cutting.
The feature event is the Annual Crank Up weekend which is held at the end of January every year. This event is nationally recognised. Check out the club's Facebook Page
